At The Short Store, we want you to feel great in what you wear. If something doesn’t fit quite right or isn’t what you expected, we’ll make it right with a smooth and transparent exchange or return process.
1. When You Can Exchange or Return

You can request an exchange or return within 7 days of receiving your order.

The product must be unworn, unwashed, and returned with original tags and packaging intact.

Exchanges are available for a different size or product of the same or higher value.

Returns are accepted only if the product is damaged, defective, or if we’ve sent you the wrong item (which we’ll fix immediately!)
- Products under ₹999 are eligible for size exchanges only.

2. A Few Things We Can’t Take Back

Items bought during a sale or clearance can’t be exchanged or returned unless arrived damaged.

Products that show any signs of wear or use cannot be accepted.
3. About Shipping Charges
We keep our product pricing fair and transparent, without building exchange shipping costs into it.

Exchange shipping is chargeable, as it covers both pickup and delivery of your replacement.
- Exchange shipping fee of ₹150-₹350, depending on your location (PIN code)

You can also self-ship the product to avoid pickup charges.

In case of returns, original shipping charges are non-refundable. (If your order had free shipping, the actual shipping cost incurred will be deducted from your refund.}
4. How to Start an Exchange or Return

Once we receive and inspect the product, we’ll ship out your exchange or process your refund (if applicable).
5. Refunds

Refunds are applicable only for damaged, defective, or incorrect products.

They’ll be processed to your original payment method within 3–7 business days after we receive the item.

For exchanges, your replacement will be shipped as soon as the returned product is checked and approved.
6. A Few More Things to Keep in Mind

COD shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.

If your requested size or product is out of stock, we’ll offer store credit or help you choose an alternate style.
