Exchange & Return Policy

At The Short Store, we want you to feel great in what you wear. If something doesn’t fit quite right or isn’t what you expected, we’ll make it right with a smooth and transparent exchange or return process.

We offer easy size exchanges and store-credit-based returns within 7 days of product delivery.

1. When You Can Exchange or Return

  • You can request an exchange or return within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • The product must be unworn, unwashed, and returned with original tags and packaging intact.

  • Exchanges are available for a different size or product of the same or higher value. If the requested size is unavailable, you’ll receive store credit equal to the product value. 

  • Returns are accepted only if the product is damaged, defective, or if we’ve sent you the wrong item (which we’ll fix immediately!)

  • Products under ₹999 are eligible for size exchanges only.

2. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are issued only as store credit (no cash/bank refunds).
  • Store credit will be for product value only, shipping & COD fees excluded.
  • Store credit does not expire.

3. About Shipping Charges

We keep our product pricing fair and transparent, without building exchange shipping costs into it.

  • Exchange shipping is chargeable, as it covers both pickup and delivery of your replacement.

  • Exchange shipping fee of ₹150-₹350, depending on your location (PIN code).

  • You can also self-ship the product to avoid pickup charges.
  • In case of returns, original shipping charges are non-refundable. (If your order had free shipping, the actual shipping cost incurred will be deducted from your refund)

4. How to Start an Exchange or Return

Raise a request through our [Exchange/Return Portal] https://theshortstore.ecoreturns.ai/apps/ecoreturnsai 

  • Items bought during a sale or clearance can’t be exchanged or returned unless arrived damaged.
  • Products that show any signs of wear or use cannot be accepted

Once approved, pickup will be attempted thrice. If unsuccessful, we request you to self-ship the item. 

  • Upon receiving and verifying the product, your exchange will be processed.

  • Entire process may take 7–10 working days. Updates will be sent to your registered email. In case you need the exchange urgently please opt for express shipping or reach out to our customer support to expedite your exchange request.

Stock Availability:

  • Exchanges depend on stock. If your size is unavailable, you'll receive STORE CREDIT or the option to choose another item. We regularly restock 

Important:

If reverse pickup service is not available at your pin code, we kindly request you to self-ship the product to our warehouse. The return address will be shared once your request is approved.

NON-RETURNABLE / NON-EXCHANGEABLE ITEMS

Clearance sale items are strictly non-returnable, non-refundable.
